Doctrine of GOD
To find a good Church, look for where the BIBLE is preached as the word of GOD and believe in the deity of JESUS CHRIST. Not just any so called Church but proper Christian Church. A good Church must believe in the following below:
- Divine Inspiration And Authority Of The Holy Bible: The church must believe that the Bible is infallible in its declaration, final in its authority, all sufficient in its provision and comprehensive in its sufficiency (2Timothy 3:16, 1Peter 1:2).
- The One True God: The church must believe in the existence of the one True God, “JEHOVAH GOD” – ELOHIM, Maker of the whole universe, indefinable, but revealed as Triune God – Father, Son and The Holy Spirit – one in nature, essence, and attributes, Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent (Genesis 1:1; Mathew 3:16 – 17; 28:19; 2Corithians 13:14).
- Man’s Depraved Nature: The Church must accept that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and are subject to eternal punishment; and need repentance and regeneration (Genesis 3:1 – 19; Isaiah 53: 6).
- The Church Must Believe That Man (Both Men And Women) Needs A “SAVIOUR”: This need has met in the person of Jesus Christ for the following reasons: His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, resurrection and ascension; also His abiding intercession and second coming to judge the living and the dead (Matthew 1:21; John 4:42; Ephesians 5:23; Philipians2:6 – 11). We are saved by Grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, it’s not by works so no one can boast, John 14:6. The works comes after salvation, where the believer reaches to the lost ones, pay tithes, attend church etc.
- The Church Must Believe That All Men Have To Repent Of And Confess Their Sins Before God And Believe In The Vicarious Death Of “JESUS CHRIST” To Be Justified Before God: They believe in the sanctification of the believer through the working of the Holy Spirit and in God’s gift of eternal life to the believer (Luke 15:7, Acts 2:38; Rom. 4:25; 5:6; 1Corith. 1:30; 1Thess. 4:3).
- The Church Must Believe In The Two Following Ordinances For The Church: Baptism by immersion and Holy Communion (that’s the Lord’s Supper). These are commandments ordained by JESUS CHRIST for the Church (Matthew 28:19 – 20; Mark 16:16; Luke 22:19). The significance of baptism as a symbol of identification in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ is best portrayed by complete immersion in water (Mark. 1:10; Jn. 3:23; Acts 8:38). Sprinkling and dipping are symbolically used in the desert or where immersion is not possible. The church must be careful not to make the mode more important than the truth it symbolises.
- The Church Must Believe In The Holy Spirit Baptism With Tongues As Initial Evidence: for believers with signs following; also the operation of the Gifts and bearing of the fruits of the Holy Spirit (the fruits shows maturity) in the lives of believers (Mark 16:17; Acts 2:14; 1Corithians 12:8 – 11; Galatians 5:22, 23). When you get saved, you receive some of the Spirit of the Lord, but when you receive the Holy Ghost baptism, it means you are immersed and filled up with the Spirit. Everyone who is saved has the Spirit of Christ, but they are not baptized in the Holy Ghost.
- The Church Believes In “DIVINE HEALING”. They must believe that God heals and has power over all sickness and diseases. They must not also oppose the medication by qualified medical practitioners (2Kings 20:7; Matthew 9:12; Luke 10:34; Colossians 4:14).
- The Church Must Believe In “TITHE” And “OFFERING”: (Being free will or donation) toward the cause of carrying forward the Kingdom of God. God blesses a cheerful giver (Genesis 14:18 – 20; 28:20 – 22; Malachi 3:6 – 10; Matthew 23:23; Acts 20:35; 1Corinthians 16:1 – 3, 2Corinthians 9:1-9). Tithing is paying to God ten percent of one’s income and all monies that come into our possession.
- The Church Must Believe In “THE SECOND COMING AND THE NEXT LIFE”: They must believe in the second coming of JESUS CHRIST and the resurrection of the dead, both saved and unsaved: they that are saved, to the resurrection of life; and they that are not saved resurrection of damnation (Mark 13:26; Daniel 12:2; John 5:28, 29; Acts 1:11, 10:42; Romans 2:7 – 11; 6:23).
- Enjoy Fellowship And Help Each Othe:r (Acts 2:42, 1John 1:3 – 7, Acts 4:32:37 – 37, 2 Corinthians 8:1 – 5.
- Well Organised And Evangelized: (Romans 1:8, 1Thess. 1:8 – 10, Acts 14:23, Philippians 1:1, 1Tim. 3:1-13

The Laws of Life
Man (human beings) cannot live without laws. Laws exist to protect the rights of the members of a society and to ensure that they do not have to protect those rights through their own actions. Laws are rules that bind all people living in a community. Laws protect our general safety, and ensure our rights as citizens against abuses by other people, by organisation, and by the government.
According to the bible the law exist because of transgressions (Galatians 3:19). It is part of GOD’s creation, (Genesis 2:16 – 17, And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.) GOD made man (Adam and Eve) to rule over His creation with a condition that they should not touch nor eat the fruit of knowledge of bad and good for the very day that man (Adam and Eve) eats they shall surely die. So those who have been saying we are not under the law should read the bible well meditate upon and ask the Holy Spirit for interpretation.
Proverb 6:16
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Apostle Paul stated that we are not under the law but under the grace (Romans 6:14, For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.). He was not referring to law to be righteous or to make it into GOD’s Kingdom; he was specially referring to laws that kill. When a person is born again he is not under Satan laws again but becomes a new creature in Christ. When JESUS came, He gave His followers a new meaning and understanding of GOD’s laws or commandments. He said all of GOD’s commandments have been follow from or summarised into two principles; which are Love GOD with your heart, soul and mind, and Love your neighbour as yourself – (Matthew 22:36 – 40; Luke 10:27; Deuteronomy 6:; Mark 12:30) - Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. He said we should diligently apply these two principles in our lives rather than just obey a set of rules. If these two laws that summarises all the laws of the prophets still applicable to us then we are under the law of GOD.
The Ten Commandments are fused in the two laws of Love GOD with all your heart, soul, and mind; and love your neighbour as yourself. The relationship or the commonest among the Ten Commandments and the two laws of JESUS is LOVE.
People who learn to put their trust in GOD, instead of worldly things, find a deep sense of peace and serenity that overshadows the evil, anxiety and disappointments of life and the fear of death. We live in the world but we must put our hopes and trust in GOD.
Exodus 20
And God spake all these words, saying,
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
