Author Maxwell Kobina Acquah's book THE CHURCH is a well written piece. In his writing he breaks down the meaning of the word, "Church" and goes on to explain what the Bible says about the true meaning of the word.

Even though he quotes Bible passages, he is great at breaking down the terminology into layman's terms. A line that the author wrote instills my faith in myself and my religion. His words, "To find a good Church, look for where the Bible is preached as the word of God and believe in the deity of Jesus Christ."

Maxwell K. Acquah is a gifted author as shown in the writing of this book. He does an excellent job in explaining in detail what the true "Church" must believe in to exist. He also explains the unhealthy characteristics of a false church and false doctrine. He is very thorough in his research and beliefs.

He goes on to explain the meaning and the commitment of local church membership and the physical participation with fellow church members.

In chapter four he continues to bring to light the church management and governing administration of the Church. His explanation and purpose of church discipline is very thorough and made easy to understand. With the help of scripture the author is able to put into layman's terms how to practice Church Discipline as well as to learn the procedures for Church Discipline.

The author brings to light the thought of the true Christian and how he/she differs from the different religions and what will unite the true Christian Churches.

The author proceeds to list and bring out in layman's terms the Five Basic Doctrines of the Christian Church. He goes on to warn of cults, revivalists and televangelists, that the true word of God that is being ministered outside the "Church" can be misleading.

The author goes on to explain salvation, the difference between discipline and punishment. He talks of the angels and the prophet and the conflict found within the inner structure of the Church.

I recommend this book to anyone who is searching for the "right church" in their religious life.

Author, Maxwell Kobina Acquah has put his heart and soul into his first book titled, THERE IS A CONDITION. Who knew that this short book would be filled with such positive feedback for the reader that is looking to find his or her way to God?

In the first chapter titled, THE FIRST LIFE ON EARTH ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE the author writes of the beginning when God created Heaven, earth and man.

He continues on in the second chapter, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS/LAWS and then moves on into chapter three with GOD PROVIDES WITH A CONDITION.

In chapter four, JESUS LOVES YOU, he continues to breakdown the meaning of the verses into layman's terms, then ends with chapter five, YOUR SINS ARE NOT MUCH.

After reading this book I feel it has been appropriately named. This book is not preachy. I found it enlightening and spiritually rewarding. The author explains in an open minded way what God's intent is for each of us. The author walks us through the different chapters and verses from the Bible leaving us with an easy understandable version.

This would be a good book for all age groups to help with guidance and reassurance when life becomes a burden.

1. THERE IS A CONDITION

 “There is A Condition” author Maxwell Kobina Acquah’s reminder to both believers of YHWH (Jehovah) and invitation to non-believers to reflect upon the principles of:

1) “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matt 7:12)

2) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

The book is organized in an easy to read manner, of which the author will first cite the scriptures, prior to expounding upon the principles embedded within the Bible.

The said condition is surprisingly simple to comprehend, yet if based on mere mortal efforts, absolutely difficult to attain. However the good news is found in the following verse “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27) .

“There Is A Condition” can be completed leisurely under an hour. It has my recommendation to both believers and non-believers. Thank you brother Maxwell for the reminder!

I pray in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST, that as you have taking the step to seek first the Kingdom of Almighty GOD, mercy, favour and unlimited grace shall follow you and you shall always overcome sin and your enemies.
 

If all men know you but JESUS doesn't know you, then you are unknown, if all men applaud you but JESUS doesn't applaud you, then you are not applauded.

Seek to be applauded by JESUS for HE is the only one that matters.

JESUS is the saviour.

MATTHEW 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

JOHN 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jeremiah 30:2 – thus speaketh Lord God of Israel, saying write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

KNOWLEDGE: is the discovery of facts, information, skills, and understanding the meaning of life through reading good divinely and inspirational, motivational, social, historical, political, religious, and developmental books.

The most precious gift one can ever have is DIVINE POWER 1Corithians 14:4. This gift enables you to control yourself, overcome sin and the worldly desires, and live a fearful free life. Acquiring this gift is through divinely knowledge. JESUS CHRIST is the Divine knowledge - John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
